Geneva, Switzerland – Rana Basharat Ali Khan, Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement (IHRM), has called for urgent global unity to combat racial discrimination at the conclusion of the UN’s International Decade for People of African Descent. Khan emphasized the need to dismantle systemic racism and colonial legacies that continue to impact millions worldwide. He praised countries taking steps to address racial inequalities but urged further action, including reparatory justice and socio-economic protections. The IHRM, which operates in 60 countries, remains committed to advancing human rights and addressing race-based discrimination globally.
