Significant progress has been made in the incident of alleged attack on a private academy in Samanabad by unruly youths, violence against female teachers and creating panic among students and damage to the academy’s property.
During the proceedings on the application for registration of a case at the Women’s Police Station Race Course, the petitioner female teachers and the alleged accused Danish, Talha and their mother were presented before the female SHO Amna Jamil.
SHO Amna Jamil, who is known for her professional skills and balanced attitude, directed the parties to present their respective positions by giving a fair opportunity.
On this occasion, the plaintiff female teacher presented video evidence and mobile recording of the incident as evidence, while the accused presented oral explanations.
After hearing the positions of both the parties, the SHO directed the Investigation Officer, Ms. Sidra Jabeen, to obtain all the evidence including the CCTV footage of the scene and compile a report so that after fulfilling the requirements of justice, the real culprits can be identified and legal action can be completed.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, a young man named Talha and Danish, along with his companions, attacked a private academy in Samanabad and subjected female teachers to violence, harassment and vandalism.
During the incident, reports of violations of the sanctity of the chador and the four walls and instilling fear and terror in innocent students came to light.
The affected female teachers have demanded that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and DIG Faisal Kamran provide them with complete protection and take exemplary action against such anti-education elements so that in the future no one can even think of violating the sanctity of women and educational institutions.
