Faisalabad: The divisional administration has achieved another significant milestone in expanding the network for quality education by inaugurating the sub-campus of Divisional Model College in FDA City, along the Sargodha Road. Commissioner Faisalabad, Raja Jahangir Anwar, unveiled the inauguration plaque. The ceremony was attended by DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, Additional Commissioners Aamir Raza and Asif Chauhan, Principal Mirza Yaseen, and other officials.
The sub-campus has currently started operations in a rented building, enrolling students from grades one to five under a fully equipped Cambridge system, which will eventually offer education up to O-Level and A-Level standards. Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar toured the classrooms, reviewing the teaching and administrative facilities, furniture standards, and overall learning environment for the students.
He stated that the establishment of the FDA City sub-campus will provide cost-effective and quality educational facilities to the children of local residents and surrounding communities. He urged teachers and administration to maintain high standards in teaching and the academic environment. Once the multi-purpose, state-of-the-art air-conditioned building under construction is completed, classes will be shifted there.
The commissioner also highlighted that under the supervision of the divisional administration, divisional public schools and colleges have set high standards of education and training, with graduates making notable contributions in fields such as science and technology, literature, civil and military services, which is a matter of pride for the institution.
DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry expressed gratitude to the divisional administration for establishing the sub-campus, noting that the Commissioner’s personal interest and dedicated efforts have not only accelerated the development of FDA City but will also provide dignified educational facilities to local children at affordable costs. Principal Mirza Yaseen briefed the officials on the administrative and teaching facilities of the sub-campus.
Commemorative shields were also presented to Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry on the occasion.
