International-Standard Padel Tennis Court Established at FDA City Sports Complex

Faisalabad: Director General FDA, Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, has said that the establishment of an international-standard padel tennis court at the FDA City Sports Complex is a valuable addition for the promotion of healthy activities and will provide young people with modern sports facilities. He expressed these views during his visit to FDA City while interacting with citizens and players. Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Director IT Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Deputy Director Engineering Talha Tabassum, and other officers were also present on the occasion. The DG FDA stated that keeping in view the growing trend and popularity of padel tennis among the youth, the decision was made to establish this court as part of efforts to modernize sports infrastructure. He added that the padel tennis court has been designed strictly in accordance with international standards, making it a significant addition to the city’s sports culture and suitable for professional training of players. Muhammad Asif Chaudhry further said that to encourage sports enthusiasts, the facility is being offered at highly subsidized fees so that people from all segments of society can benefit from this modern sport. He emphasized that FDA aims to steer citizens, especially the youth, away from negative activities by promoting sports, thereby contributing to the development of a healthy and active society. He also informed that a cafeteria and juice corner have been launched immediately at the sports complex for entertainment and refreshment. Citizens appreciated the initiative and termed it a valuable gift for Faisalabad in the field of sports.
