District Superintendent of Police (SP) Chaman, Abdullah Cheema, said that the merger of the Levies force into the police would enable the police force to deliver more effective services.
Following a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai, directing the Levies to report to the police, SP Abdullah Cheema visited various former Levies police stations and the headquarters across District Chaman. During the visit, he thoroughly reviewed the available manpower, weapons, official records, and overall security arrangements at the stations.
The SP met with officers on duty—former Levies personnel now serving as police officials—and instructed them to further improve the law and order situation, deal courteously with the public, and perform their official duties with honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
