Decision to establish X-ray, surgical facilities and upgrade diagnostic services for animal health. Faisalabad: Director Livestock Dr. Haider Ali Khan paid a detailed visit to the office of the Additional Director Livestock Chiniot and the District Diagnostic Laboratory. Additional Director Livestock District Chiniot Dr. Atta Subhani conducted a comprehensive inspection of all relevant offices, laboratories and available facilities, and briefed him on ongoing and proposed development initiatives in the district.
During the visit, sites were selected for two major district-level development projects, including the provision of X-ray and surgical (operation) facilities for animal health and welfare, as well as the upgradation of diagnostic services. The Director Livestock reviewed the existing infrastructure and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers to ensure the timely initiation of these projects.
Dr. Haider Ali Khan stated that these initiatives would enable timely diagnosis of animal diseases, effective treatment and improved surveillance. He added that, in line with provincial policy, the Livestock Department is continuously taking steps to provide farmers and livestock owners with modern and quality veterinary services to strengthen the livestock sector and improve farmers’ livelihoods.
