Faisalabad: Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed that strict financial discipline be ensured across all departments of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), emphasizing complete transparency in all accounting entries. He assigned monitoring responsibilities to Additional Director Qaiser Abbas Rand and instructed that income and expenditure details in the Finance Wing be reviewed on a daily basis with utmost diligence and responsibility. While reviewing financial matters, the Additional Director General convened a meeting and instructed concerned officers to adopt an effective and comprehensive strategy for accurate assessment of various departmental fees and outstanding dues. He stressed the importance of double verification to ensure correctness in all financial transactions.
Presiding over the meeting, he emphasized that there should be no obstacles in the implementation of digital technology mechanisms for the recovery and payment of dues. He further directed officials to carefully scrutinize all fee entries mentioned in e-challans issued for online payments.The DG warned that any form of corruption, mismanagement, or financial irregularity would not be tolerated under any circumstances, and directed that all financial records must be kept fully updated.The meeting was attended by Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Deputy Director Finance Afzal Ansari, Assistant Recoveries Mian Akhtar, and other officers.
