Faisalabad: Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar has stated that under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, providing a conducive and business-friendly environment for industrialists and traders is the foremost priority of the divisional administration. He said that although the relocation of industries outside the city has become an urgent need of the time, consultations with industrialists will be given due importance, and both the Government of Pakistan and the Government of Punjab will be formally approached for the provision of incentives.

He expressed these views during his visit to APTMA House, where he met industrialists associated with processing units. Chairman APTMA Baw Malik Muhammad Akram, along with Hafiz Asghar, Chaudhry Hameed, Mian Aftab, Muhammad Amjad, and other office-bearers, were also present on the occasion.

During the visit, the Commissioner distributed financial assistance collected by industrialists among the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Millatpur factory accident. He offered prayers for the departed souls and emphasized that there is no substitute for human life. He also highlighted the welfare initiative taken by industrialists, at the encouragement of the divisional administration, who contributed to the reconstruction of houses affected by the Millatpur incident.

The Commissioner assured industrialists of resolving their issues and stated that if industrialists propose new business and industrial activities, the administration will facilitate them by providing land. He also briefed the participants on ongoing development and uplift initiatives in the city.

Industrialists appreciated the public welfare and pro-people measures taken by the divisional administration, pointed out certain issues, and presented suggestions regarding the relocation of industries outside the city. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commissioner Faisalabad was presented with a commemorative shield.
