Toba Tek Singh:An Education and Family Planning Fair organized by the Health and Population Department was successfully held at the Sports Cricket Stadium Jhang Road in Toba Tek Singh.The fair continued from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, attracting a large number of families, women and children.
Deputy Commissioner Toba Tek Singh Umar Abbas Mela attended the fair as the chief guest. Also present were Deputy Director Population Muhammad Naeem, District Sports Officer Muhammad Jamil, representatives of civil society and members of the media.The main objective of the fair was to raise awareness among the public about maternal and child health as well as family planning with the goal of promoting a healthy and prosperous society. Various recreational and educational activities were organized for children and families, including musical chair games, quiz competitions, painting contests and healthy child competitions.Children also presented special performance tableaux, while cultural activities were held to promote regional heritage. For the enjoyment and engagement of families, a special Qawwali program was also arranged, adding to the vibrancy of the event.To further public awareness, free medical camps and family planning information centers were set up at the fair, where citizens received free medical check-ups and medicines.Deputy Commissioner Umar Abbas Mela said, Organizing such awareness fairs is extremely important for building a healthy and prosperous society.Deputy Director Population Muhammad Naeem added, By combining education and recreation, an effective and positive message is being delivered to the public.At the conclusion of the event, participants appreciated such public and awareness-focused initiatives and expressed the hope that similar activities would continue in the future.v
