Hockey and Karate Girls Trials were held in Sahiwal in connection with the Punjab Pink Games 2026 being held at the divisional level under the Sports Department. In the trials, girls players of karate and hockey were selected for the divisional level team. Karate trials were held at Zafar Ali Stadium while hockey trials were held at the Hockey Ground in Sahiwal. During the trials, Divisional Sports Officer Sahiwal Chaudhry Nisar-ul-Haq said that players are being selected at the divisional level in the trials, who will leave for Lahore to play on February 10. The selection of players was done from the representatives of the association and senior players. Trials for weightlifting, taekwondo and volleyball will be held on February 22, in which players from across the division will participate. Divisional Sports Officer Chaudhry Nisar-ul-Haq, District Sports Officer Mehr Aamir Rashid, Superintendent Muhammad Qayyum Khan, Tehsil Sports Officer Okara Fatima Rasool were also present on the occasion.
