FAISALABAD: Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera visited the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), where he was received by FCCI President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, Secretary Sabir Ayub, executive members and other office-bearers.District Bar Association Faisalabad President Mian Tariq Mahmood, Secretary Kaleemullah Gul, former FCCI president Mian Muhammad Idrees and a large number of chamber members were also present on the occasion.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the overall security situation of the city, maintenance of law and order and measures for crime prevention. The FCCI president appreciated the steps taken by the police under the leadership of the RPO to curb narcotics and gambling in the region.Addressing the participants, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera lauded the role of industrialists in maintaining peace and stability in the city. He said that the issues faced by Faisalabad’s business community would be addressed on a priority basis at all levels, adding that ensuring a peaceful environment for business activities remained a top priority of the police.
The FCCI president assured the RPO of the chamber’s full cooperation and reiterated that the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the police for a peaceful Faisalabad.
