Government Hospitals and Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics Ensuring Quality Care for Mothers and Children

Toba Tek Singh : District Health and Population Welfare Officer Toba Tek Singh Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem has stated that the health of mothers and children is a fundamental pillar of a progressive and civilized society. In line with the directives of the Government of Punjab, awareness campaigns regarding maternal and child healthcare, immunization, balanced nutrition, and family planning are being actively carried out across the district.He said that regular medical check-ups for pregnant women, provision of free medicines and safe delivery services are being ensured at government hospitals, Marryum Nawaz Health Clinics (MNCHs) and Marryum Nawaz Hospitals
Further Marryum Nawaz Mobile Hospitals are also working at rural area of each Tehsil to protect mothers and newborns from any complications. He also directed the medical staff to ensure the availability of healthcare services in rural and remote areas and to promote awareness among the public about adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem further added that under the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), children are being provided timely vaccinations to protect them from life-threatening diseases. He urged parents to complete the full course of vaccinations for their children and to immediately visit the nearest health facility in case of any medical concern.
He reaffirmed his commitment to utilizing all available resources to reduce maternal and child mortality rates and to improve the overall standard of healthcare in District Toba Tek Singh.
