Haris Rauf Achieves Major Milestone

National fast bowler Haris Rauf has achieved a significant milestone, becoming Pakistan’s most successful bowler in T20 format.

In the first T20 match played against Zimbabwe in Blawayo yesterday, Haris Rauf claimed two wickets, making him the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan in the shortest format of the game.

Haris Rauf has now taken 109 wickets in 76 T20 matches at an average of 20.46. All-rounder Shadab Khan is second on the list with 107 wickets from 104 matches, while Shaheen Shah Afridi holds the third spot with 97 wickets from 73 matches.

Shaheen’s father-in-law, former captain Shahid Afridi, also has 97 wickets, but from 98 matches, placing him one spot behind his son-in-law in fourth position.

In the first T20 match played yesterday, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 57 runs, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second match will be played tomorrow (Tuesday).
