WASA MD Urges Citizens to Conserve Water on World Water Day

Saqib Raza Highlights Importance of Water Conservation and Responsible Usage in Faisalabad

Faisalabad:Managing Director WASA Mr. Saqib Raza stated that water is a priceless natural resource and every drop of it is precious. He emphasized that preventing water wastage is a collective national responsibility. He warned that if we fail to value this blessing today, future generations may face severe challenges. On the occasion of World Water Day, he said this day reminds us to make water conservation a part of our daily lives and to use water carefully. He further informed that during the Eid holidays, water supply will continue according to the schedule, providing water for three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening.He cautioned that drawing water outside the scheduled timings using motors may increase the risk of contamination, urging citizens to avoid such practices. He also highlighted that special attention is being given to timely repair of leakage points and improving the water supply system to minimize water wastage. Saqib Raza stressed that citizens must also exercise caution in domestic water use, such as while washing utensils, clothes, performing ablution or bathing and should prefer using a bucket over running taps.
