Managing Director WASA directs speedy completion of development schemes to ensure efficient drainage during the upcoming monsoon season

Faislabad: Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza has directed that construction work on all ongoing development schemes be completed at full speed, emphasizing that these projects must be finalized before the onset of the monsoon season.
Chairing a meeting, he stated that work on development schemes has resumed after the Eid holidays and must now continue at an accelerated pace to ensure timely completion before the rainy season. He added that completing these projects in advance will help provide citizens with efficient and high-quality drainage services during the monsoon.
The MD WASA Saqib Raza further said that all available resources are being utilized to provide relief to citizens in terms of sewerage operations. He assured that during the current year’s monsoon season, facilities will be in place to ensure the drainage of rainwater in the shortest possible time.He also made it clear that while speeding up construction activities, safety measures must not be overlooked under any circumstances, and strict compliance with the issued SOPs is mandatory.
