MD WASA Orders Urgent Drainage Repair

Faisalabad: Managing Director WASA Faisalabad Saqib Raza has set a 24-hour deadline for the repair of settled drainage and sewerage lines at Haq Bahoo Chowk on Millat Road, stating that sewerage operations will be fully restored after completion of the work.
He visited the site at Millat Road, Haq Bahoo Chowk, where Deputy Managing Director Engineering Dr. Usman Latif and Director Drainage Division Shehbaz Latif were also present.
The MD WASA stated that WASA engineers have been working day and night to complete the challenging task of repairing drainage and sewerage lines in record time, which reflects their professional competence.
He further added that after 24 hours, sewerage operations will be fully restored in Chaba Road, Islamia Park, Khadija Mahmood Trust Hospital Road, Tariqabad, Nighebanpura and other adjoining areas.
Saqib Raza clarified that temporary relief had been provided in the affected areas through the use of de-watering sets, peter engines and sucker machines.
He also expressed gratitude to the residents of the concerned areas for their cooperation during the repair and rehabilitation work, adding that public trust is the key to WASA Faisalabad’s success.
