Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the federal capital Islamabad, as well as various cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
Residents of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Mianwali, and surrounding areas reported intense shaking. Tremors were also felt in Peshawar, Mardan, Mohmand, and Shabqadar, along with Nowshera, Swabi, Lower Dir, and Malakand.
According to the Meteorological Department, the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale. Fortunately, no damage or casualties have been reported so far.
