A Pakistani delegation led by Additional Foreign Secretary (Middle East), Ambassador Shehryar Akbar Khan, met Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani in Damascus today. Both sides discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their longstanding friendly ties. Ambassador Khan reiterated Pakistan’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing readiness to deepen engagement at bilateral and multilateral levels. The two countries agreed to increase exchanges to further strengthen relations.
