Kabul – A powerful earthquake in eastern Afghanistan has killed approximately 500 people and injured more than 1,000. According to Khaama Press, the first tremor, measuring 6.0 in magnitude, struck at 11:47 PM local time, followed 20 minutes later by a 4.5 magnitude aftershock at a depth of 10 km.
