Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, where he met several world leaders. His meetings included Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Presidents of Tajikistan and Egypt. President Mahmoud Abbas warmly received the Prime Minister, reflecting the close ties between Pakistan and Palestine. The summit, attended by leaders of more than 50 member states, was called to condemn Israel’s attack on Qatar and to discuss its wider repercussions for peace and stability in the region.
