Paris – France has signaled it may block the “passporting” of crypto licences across the European Union, escalating a regulatory dispute within the bloc. The move would prevent firms licensed in one EU country from automatically operating across all member states. Paris argues stronger safeguards are needed to protect investors and financial stability.
