Floodwaters Recede in Punjab; River Flow to Normalize Soon

Lahore: PDMA Punjab DG Irfan Ali Kathia said floodwaters are receding rapidly, with river flow expected to normalize within 24–48 hours. Breaches at Shujaabad and Jalalpur Pirwala have closed the motorway temporarily for repairs. Tent cities have been set up in Ali Pur for 17,000 families, and food and fodder are being provided across the province.
