Toba Tek Singh: The Punjab Food Authority’s Deputy Director (Operations), Muhammad Adnan Haider, announced the results of October’s activities, which included 2,908 inspections across the district. Ten sales and production units were closed, and three cases were registered against the adulteration mafia, resulting in fines of 1.72 million PKR. The authority issued reform notices to 1,163 units and destroyed 1,197 liters of adulterated milk, 335 kg of contaminated meat, and over 2,500 defective ice lollies. Haider reaffirmed the commitment to providing quality food to the public.
