At least 22,000 homes and businesses in Nezahualcóyotl, a suburb of Mexico City, have been impacted by heavy flooding since the weekend, Mayor Adolfo Cerqueda Rebollo said. Emergency crews are assisting residents as authorities work to contain water levels and prevent further damage in the densely populated area.
