A private college in Sahiwal organized an auto show to promote sustainable mobility, with the aim of introducing eco-friendly means of travel, especially bicycles and electric bikes (e-bikes) as an effective alternative to daily transportation. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal was the chief guest of the event. He appreciated the college’s efforts and said that the promotion of sustainable mobility is not only essential for environmental protection but also plays an important role in establishing a healthy lifestyle. He stressed the need for collective efforts to reduce air pollution and carbon emissions. The presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner further added to the importance of the event and greatly encouraged the organizers, students and participants. He said that such events help in raising awareness among the public about adopting green transportation solutions, protecting the environment and creating a healthy society. During the auto show, informative displays and awareness sessions were also organized to educate students and citizens about the environmental and health benefits of eco-friendly transport, which were well received by the participants.
