Asif Ali Zardari Meets Naveed Kamran Baloch After Oath, Emphasizes Effective Public Complaint Redressal and Reforms

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari meet with Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch at Aiwan-e-Sadr after he took oath as the Federal Ombudsman. According to details, the newly appointed Federal Ombudsman, Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch, called on the President shortly after his oath-taking ceremony. During the meeting, matters related to the performance of the Federal Ombudsman’s office, an effective mechanism for the redressal of public complaints and institutional reforms were discussed.
President Asif Ali Zardari stated on the occasion that the institution of the Federal Ombudsman plays a key role in providing prompt and inexpensive justice to the public. He expressed hope that Naveed Kamran Baloch would discharge his responsibilities with integrity, transparency and professionalism, and ensure the timely resolution of public complaints against government institutions.Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch thanked the President and reaffirmed his commitment to utilizing all available resources to further strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the Federal Ombudsman’s office in order to provide greater relief to the public.The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere with a renewed commitment to promoting good governance and addressing public issues in the country.
