China’s UN envoy Fu Cong strongly condemned the U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling them a violation of international law and the UN Charter. Speaking at an emergency UN Security Council meeting, he warned of rising tensions in the Middle East and urged all parties, especially Israel, to cease hostilities. China, Russia, and Pakistan have proposed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire and protection of civilians.
