General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), attended the 98th founding day ceremony of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in Islamabad as the chief guest. Praising the PLA’s vital role under President Xi Jinping’s visionary leadership, General Mirza highlighted China’s remarkable development and rapid modernization. He lauded the enduring “iron-clad brotherhood” between Pakistan and China and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to protecting Chinese nationals, advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, strengthening defense ties, and promoting regional harmony and development.
