Vehari: Deputy Commissioner Imrana Tauqir chaired the District Agriculture Advisory and Task Force Sub-Committee meeting, where key initiatives were discussed, including wheat production competitions, the free tractor and laser leveler schemes, and the distribution of farmer cards. Deputy Director Agriculture, Rana Mohammad Arif, briefed on agricultural activities, while Dr. Zakir Ali, Additional Director Livestock, highlighted livestock services. Imrana Tauqir emphasized the Punjab government’s focus on enhancing agriculture and livestock, announcing support for farmers with free equipment and livestock for poor women. Relevant officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, also attended the meeting.
