Zero Tolerance for Negligence in Protection of FDA Properties and Assets

Faisalabad: Director General Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed that citizens’ problems be resolved on a priority basis, asserting that any negligence in the discharge of official duties will not be tolerated. He issued these instructions while listening to public grievances at his office under the Punjab Government’s “Open Door Policy.” During the session, the DG FDA received applications from citizens and issued immediate orders to the relevant officers for their redressal. He informed the applicants that FDA’s administrative operations have been integrated with modern technology to ensure swift service delivery and due to these reforms, the authority is now able to efficiently provide relief in matters such as real-time issuance of ownership clearance certificates, TP reports and possession slips. Furthermore, traditional methods have been replaced by an E-Challan system for the collection of various dues and fees. He highlighted that through the Punjab Government’s “E-Biz Punjab” portal, approvals for residential and commercial building plans, land-use conversions and other FDA-related business permits are being processed rapidly. To resolve specific issues on the spot, the DG FDA issued telephonic instructions to concerned officers, emphasizing that operations against encroachments, illegal housing schemes, unauthorized constructions and the land mafia must continue unabated. He strictly cautioned officers to ensure the protection of FDA properties and assets, warning that no lapse in supervision would be permitted.
