DPO Akhlaq Ullah Tarar meets staff, SDPOs, and SHOs to discuss law and order, citizen protection, and professional policing in Toba Tek Singh

Toba Tek Singh: The newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) Toba Tek Singh Akhlaq Ullah Tarar has formally assumed charge of his office. Upon his arrival at the Police Lines, he was warmly received by SP Investigation Toba Tek Singh Fazal Abbas, who presented him with a bouquet. A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a guard of honor to the new DPO at the District Police Lines.The DPO laid a floral wreath at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial and offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.After assuming charge, DPO Akhlaq Ullah Tarar held an introductory meeting with the office staff. During the meeting, he directed branch in-charges to adopt honesty, integrity and dedication as their guiding principles in performing their duties.Later, he chaired a meeting with SDPOs and SHOs, where the overall law and order situation, public issues and key policing matters in the district were discussed in detail. The DPO stated that all available resources would be utilized to maintain law and order and eliminate crime in the district. He directed officers to remain vigilant and work as a professional team to make the district crime-free.He further emphasized that resolving the issues of district police personnel and ensuring their welfare would be a top priority. He assured that the protection of citizens’ lives, property and dignity would be guaranteed and investigations would be conducted in a transparent and fair manner in accordance with the vision of the Inspector General of Police Punjab.
