Zero-tolerance campaign against riding without helmets, underage driving, and other violations; appeal to parents and citizens to follow the law

Faisalabad: On the instructions of CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar, a special campaign has been launched across the district to prevent traffic accidents and ensure compliance with traffic regulations. As part of the campaign, joint checkpoints by the Traffic Police and District Police were set up to take action against motorcyclists riding without helmets or violating traffic laws. Citizens traveling without helmets were stopped, instructed to follow the law on the spot, several were issued challans, and many were made to wear helmets immediately to ensure compliance.

According to the spokesperson, strict action was also taken against underage driving. Underage riders were stopped, their parents were reprimanded, and legal fines were imposed under relevant laws. The CPO stated that citizens who ride without helmets or violate traffic rules put their own lives at serious risk. Therefore, parents must not allow their children to drive irresponsibly. He added that a comprehensive district-level strategy has been put in place to curb traffic violations, as the lives of citizens are precious and the law will be enforced at all costs.

Sahibzada Bilal Umar made it clear that the zero-tolerance policy against traffic violations will continue.
