RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera meets Goods Transport Associations including goods carriers, cargo, and Mazda associations to discuss road safety, transport sector security, and coordinated measures
Faislabad:Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, held a meeting with a delegation of Goods Transport Associations.The delegation included Mohsin Saleem Akhtar, Chairman of Faisalabad Goods Carriers Association along with representatives from the Container Association, Cargo Association and Mazda Association. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on security challenges road safety concerns and other issues faced by transporters. Various policy objectives were also discussed to maintain a high level of security alertness.
Both sides agreed on formulating a joint strategy to promote vigilance and enhance security within the transport sector. The RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera assured full protection of life and property of individuals associated with goods transportation and stated that concrete measures would be taken to address security issues faced by the sector.Instructions were issued to increase patrolling on highways and within urban areas, strengthen effective checking mechanisms and ensure timely identification and reporting of suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unattended items.Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera said that the safety and security of goods transport vehicles will be ensured at all costs. Continuous engagement with the trader and transporter community remains our priority. Through a joint and coordinated strategy, sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by the transport sector will be achieved and the protection of the business community will be ensured under all circumstances.
