Chaz Lucius, the 18th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has retired from hockey at age 21 after being diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Lucius cited medical advice and recurring injuries as the reason for his retirement.
