Chaman (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai)<\/strong> – A worker of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Nazar Muhammad, was martyred in a firing incident on College Road, Chaman, yesterday.<\/p>\n Against this tragic incident, various political parties of Chaman staged a sit-in by placing the body of the deceased in front of the Deputy Commissioner Complex Chaman. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangalzai, during negotiations with the protesters, assured that the killers would be arrested at all costs.<\/p>\n On Monday evening, Deputy District Police Officer Chaman, Abdul Jabbar Achakzai, while addressing an emergency press conference, told journalists that after the incident, SP District Chaman, Aitezaz Arif, had formed an inquiry committee headed by Ashfaq Ahmed. Using all available resources, the police arrested the accused, Qudratullah, along with the murder weapon.<\/p>\n Abdul Jabbar Achakzai further said that the arrested killer is the victim’s own nephew and the accused has also confessed to the crime. Further investigation into the incident is underway.<\/p>\n Inspector Jahangir Khan Kakar and other police officers were also present on the occasion of the press conference.
