MALE:<\/strong> Specialist divers have recovered the bodies of four Italian scuba divers who died after entering a deep underwater cave in the Maldives, following several days of search operations.<\/p>\n The divers disappeared during a scuba diving expedition at a cave approximately 60 metres (197 feet) deep<\/strong> in Vaavu Atoll. The first victim was located shortly after the accident, while the remaining members of the group were found several days later.<\/p>\n A team of specialist Finnish and Maldivian divers took part in the difficult recovery operation inside the underwater cave.<\/p>\n Finnish diver Sami Paakkarinen<\/strong>, who was involved in the operation, said the four bodies were located together in one section of the cave. He described the area as extremely deep and challenging for divers.<\/p>\n Paakkarinen also commented on the equipment used by the victims, saying it was not optimal for the demanding conditions inside the cave.<\/p>\n The depth and confined environment of the underwater cave made the recovery particularly challenging.
