Maham Wahid Reviews Markets, Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, Schools, and Ramadan Facilitation Centers to Ensure Public Relief

Assistant Commissioner Maham Wahid made a surprise visit to different areas of the city to ensure implementation of the instructions of the Punjab government. During the visit, a detailed review was made of price control, educational institutions, health facilities, Nigahban Card Activation Center and Ramadan Facilitation Markets, while citizens were directly inquired about the facilities available. During the price control operations, Assistant Commissioner Maham Wahid inspected vegetable and fruit markets and milk shops. Several fruit and milk vendors were fined for not displaying price lists and charging prices higher than the official rates, while one shop was sealed. He clarified that illegal profiteering will not be tolerated under any circumstances and indiscriminate action will continue against violators. He visited Sahiwal Teaching Hospital and inspected the emergency and wards and directed the administration to further improve medical facilities. Attendance was checked during a surprise inspection of Government Girls Community Model School 99 No L, while instructions were issued to provide facilities to senior citizens, women and special persons on priority basis at the Caretaker Card Activation Center. On this occasion, the Assistant Commissioner said that providing relief to the public is the top priority and continuous monitoring of all relevant departments will continue.
