The moon for Muharram 1447 AH was sighted in Pakistan, confirmed by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad in Quetta. Muharram 1 will begin on Friday, June 27, with 9th Muharram on July 5 and Ashura on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
