Pakistan and China have reiterated their firm commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation for promoting regional peace, stability, and development. This was expressed during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Foreign Ministers’ Council meeting in Tianjin. The leaders held detailed discussions on key areas of mutual interest, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and multilateral cooperation. Both sides emphasized consolidating the evergreen strategic partnership and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing close collaboration across various sectors.
