On November 12, 2024, in Islamabad – President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Abu Zafar Sadiq, along with Secretary Karrar Haidri, met with Aftab ur Rehman Rana, Managing Director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, and Hassan Nasir Jamy, Secretary of the National Heritage & Culture Division. The leaders convened to discuss the upcoming International Mountain Day 2024, which embraces the theme “Mountain Solutions for a Sustainable Future – Innovation, Adaptation, Youth, and Beyond.”
