For the first time, Pakistani climbers have successfully summited Tirich Mir, the highest peak of the Hindu Kush. Led by Umar Arshad Khan under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, the expedition saw Gilgit-Baltistan climbers Sarbaz Khan and Abid Baig reach the 7,708-meter summit. Due to harsh weather, other team members were limited to 7,300 meters, while seven climbers achieved the 7,000-meter mark, marking a historic feat for Pakistan’s mountaineering community.
