Four-Year Easy Installment Plan Approved for One Kanal and 10 Marla Plots
Faisalabad: The Director General of Faisalabad Development Authority, Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, has directed the immediate finalization of all terms and conditions for the sale of 284 residential plots through a balloting scheme in FDA City, Sargodha Road. He emphasized that all relevant laws and government policies must be strictly observed during implementation. The instructions were issued during a meeting convened to review the rules and regulations of the proposed balloting scheme. The meeting was attended by Additional Director General Qaisar Abbas Rand, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Directors Junaid Hassan Manj, Asma Mohsin, Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Sohail Maqsood Punnu, Asim Mahmood, and other senior officers.
189 One Kanal and 95 Ten Marla Plots Included
It was informed during the meeting that 189 one kanal plots and 95 ten marla plots, located in various blocks of FDA City on Sargodha Road, will be offered through balloting on a four-year easy installment plan. Online application forms will soon be invited from interested applicants, and a selected bank will be assigned responsibilities for managing the financial process.
Application Fee, Earnest Money and Pricing Details
According to the approved plan, the application form for both one kanal and ten marla plots will be available for Rs 10,000. Applicants will be required to submit Rs 500,000 as earnest money for a one kanal plot and Rs 250,000 for a ten marla plot along with the application form. The price has been fixed at Rs 500,000 per marla. Successful applicants in the balloting will be required to deposit 25 percent of the total plot price as down payment, while the remaining amount will be payable in installments over four years.
Emphasis on Transparency and Use of Technology
The Director General directed that all stages of application receipt and balloting must be conducted with complete transparency, utilizing modern technical and technological tools wherever possible. He stressed that the entire system should be simple, transparent, and easily understandable for the general public. He further instructed the Additional Director General to ensure comprehensive and efficient arrangements for the receipt of applications and the conduct of balloting so that the process remains credible and trustworthy for all stakeholders.
