Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Allama Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, to discuss the country’s prevailing religious environment, social matters, and other issues of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister appreciated the CII’s constructive role in providing national-level intellectual and reform-oriented guidance. He expressed confidence that the Council would continue to play an exemplary role in offering thought leadership and policy advice to the nation. PM Shehbaz also congratulated Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi on his reappointment as Chairman of the CII for a second term, extending his best wishes for the responsibilities ahead.

Chairman Dr. Naeemi thanked the Prime Minister for the trust placed in him and affirmed that the Council would work with renewed commitment to promote religious harmony, social stability, and national unity across the country.
