Faisalabad Regional Police and British Institute sign MoU offering special fee concessions for children of police personnel, including martyrs and injured officers.
FAISALABAD: be Regional Police Faisalabad and British Institute have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer special fee concessions for the children of police officers and personnel.The agreement was signed by Sohail Akhtar Sukhera , Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad and Abid Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the British Institute.Speaking on the occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera said the initiative aims to facilitate access to quality education for the children of police personnel. Under the MoU, children of police martyrs will receive a 100 per cent fee concession in computer courses and a 60 per cent concession in modern language courses. Children of police officers injured in the line of duty will be granted a 75 per cent concession in computer courses and a 50 per cent concession in modern language courses. Meanwhile, children of serving police employees will be eligible for a 50 per cent concession in computer courses and a 40 per cent concession in modern language courses.
Furthermore, he said that the MoU would enable the children of police employees to continue their educational journey at the institute without financial hardship.
The RPO Sohail Sukhera added that police officers and personnel perform their duties round the clock to protect the lives and property of citizens, and providing their children with quality and affordable education is an important component of police welfare policy. He reiterated that the welfare of police personnel and the secure future of their families remain a top priority.Regional Police Faisalabad, he said, is committed to supporting higher education for the children of police martyrs, injured officers and serving employees.
