Punjab Labour Minister Manshaullah Butt Visits Allied Hospital Faisalabad, Pays Tribute to Chemical Factory Accident Victims, Minister reviews medical facilities, orders strict regulation of factories in residential areas, officially suspended for negligence

Faisalabad : Following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Provincial Labour Minister Manshaullah Butt visited Allied Hospital Faisalabad to check on the victims of the chemical factory accident caused by a gas leak. The minister personally visited patients in the burn unit and reviewed the medical facilities provided.

Manshaullah Butt instructed that no factories should be allowed in residential areas and ordered a complete record of those who lost their lives in the incident. He also directed the collection of data for financial assistance to the families of the injured.

The minister emphasized that there should be no compromise in providing the best medical care to the injured and assured that the government would extend all possible support to the accident victims. During the visit, he also directed improvements in arrangements to ensure proper guidance and assistance for patients’ families.

Director General Labour Welfare Punjab Syeda Hay, Director Social Security Azhar Minhas, and MS Allied Hospital Dr. Faheem were also present during the visit. Meanwhile, Area Labour Inspector Shehzad Asghar was suspended for negligence in duty.
