10kg Flour Bag at Rs. 850 and Sugar at Rs. 140 Per Kg Available Under Government-Approved Rates in Toba Tek Singh

Toba Tek Singh: District Food Controller (DFC) Toba Tek Singh Shumaila Bano stated that, following the directives of the Punjab Government, essential commodities are being provided at fixed government rates across the district’s Ramazan Sahulat Bazaars to offer relief to the public. She informed that during the holy month of Ramazan, a 10 kg bag of flour is available at Rs. 850 in the Sahulat Bazaar, which is Rs. 55 less than the open market price. Similarly, sugar is being offered at Rs. 140 per kilogram, which is Rs. 10 to 15 lower than the market rate.Shumaila Bano emphasized that ensuring the supply of quality and affordable food items during Ramazan is a top priority for the government. To achieve this, Price Control Magistrates and teams from the Food Department are regularly monitoring the Sahulat Bazaars to ensure compliance with the fixed rates.
She urged citizens to take advantage of the Ramazan Sahulat Bazaars and report any complaints to the relevant authorities promptly so that timely action can be taken.
