Strict Action Against Illegal Constructions Continues in Toba Tek Singh Under DC’s Directives

Toba Tek Singh: District Officer Planning (DOP) District Council Toba Tek Singh Hafiz Shoaib Sheikh has stated in a conversation with our correspondent that indiscriminate action against illegal constructions is ongoing across the district under the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Toba Tek Singh Umar Abbas Mela and the supervision of Chief Officer District Council Chaudhry Kashif Mahmood. He informed that during recent operations, several illegally constructed buildings were demolished. He explained that the demolished structures had been erected without obtaining proper approval of building plans from the District Council, which is a clear violation of the law.DOP Hafiz Shoaib Sheikh further said that the concerned individuals had been issued multiple notices and warnings and were directed to fulfill the legal requirements. However, due to non-compliance with official instructions, the department was compelled to take action. He emphasized that no pressure or recommendations would be entertained in ensuring the enforcement of the law.He urged citizens to obtain mandatory approval of building plans from the District Council before starting any construction activity to avoid legal consequences. He added that the operation against illegal constructions will continue in the future to ensure organized and safe urban development.
