University of Kamalia Leads Academic and Clinical Partnership with THQ Hospital Kamalia

Toba Tek Singh: The University of Kamalia and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kamalia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting academic and clinical collaboration in the field of Allied Health Sciences.The agreement was signed under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Yasir Nawab from the University of Kamalia and Medical Superintendent Dr Adeel Arif from THQ Hospital Kamalia. The ceremony was also attended by Registrar Dr. Rais Ashraf and Director Legal Dr. Zahid Farooq of the university.Under the agreement, students enrolled in programmes including BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics, BS Nursing and BS Medical Laboratory Technology will be provided opportunities for clinical training, internships, research collaboration and access to hospital laboratories and other medical facilities at THQ Hospital Kamalia.On the hospital’s side, Admin Officer Ali Tasaram and HR Officer Waseem Dogar were also present at the ceremony.
Participants said the initiative would strengthen practical learning opportunities for students and promote closer cooperation between the academic sector and the healthcare system.
