World Bank Warns of Inflation Rise After Floods in Pakistan

The World Bank reported that recent floods have severely impacted Pakistan’s economy, warning inflation could rise to 7.2%. It noted major losses in Punjab’s agriculture sector, damaging key crops and infrastructure, while economic growth is expected at 2.6% this year and 3.4% next year.
