28th Defence Review Meeting Held in Quetta to Review Overall Law and Order and Security Situation in Balochistan

The 28th Defence Review Meeting was held in Quetta to review the overall law and order and security situation in Balochistan.
The meeting was jointly chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Corps Commander Quetta. The forum conducted a detailed review of peace and stability in the province, security measures, and the status of ongoing development projects.
In a major and principled decision, the meeting approved the phased activation of the Safe City Project in Quetta and other important districts and cities of the province, which will significantly improve crime prevention and protection of citizens.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that these regularly held meetings are yielding highly positive and far-reaching results. He said that by holding this meeting every three weeks, implementation of previous decisions is ensured and the law and order situation is reviewed with continuity.
The meeting was attended by senior representatives of civil and military institutions, intelligence agencies and security forces. The participants appreciated the performance of the security forces for successful Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) against terrorism and crime in recent days and paid tribute to them.
In the end, all participants reaffirmed their resolve that all resources will be utilized for a bright future for Balochistan, sustainable peace, timely completion of development projects and the welfare of the people.
